Group Fitness

A range of classes to suit all levels of fitness and experience.

An energising way to meet new people, all whilst building and improving your strength, endurance and coordination.  With over 75 classes each week, you’re sure to find something to challenge your mind and body.

Studio 1

The hub of BALC Group Fitness with the latest SMART TECH equipment designed to maximise your workout, you can find your Les Mills favourites, freestyle, HIIT and wellbeing classes here.

Studio 2

The ultimate cycle studio with 30 of the latest bikes and over 20 classes each week to push you to your limits.

Studio 3

Achieve a sense of calm with our variety of low impact wellbeing classes including yoga, tai chi and pilates.

Sporting Clubs

Mix up your teams training schedule with a group fitness session.  Gain a competitive edge with a range of options including HIIT training, pilates, aqua workouts and a range of cardio sessions.

Aqua Fitness

Perfect for those requiring rehabilitation, suffering injuries and limitations or adding variety to a fitness regime. Using specialised aqua equipment, our qualified instructors will take you through a challenging, low-impact workout. Classes on offer range from the intense Aqua Run in the 50m Pool to Gentle Warm Water in our multipurpose pool.

Health Club

Equipped with the latest machines and weight training equipment, our trainers are qualified to guide you in your fitness journey.

Our team of qualified, supportive trainers work with people of all ages and abilities each day to deliver a premium yet simple workout experienced designed to achieve your goals and assist you with ongoing lifestyle changes.

All members receive an initial consultation which provides a tailor made and ongoing program to help you reach your goals.  To ensure you are safely performing each exercise with correct technique, our instructors will provide explanations and demonstrations of the program.  Program updates are available, and a staff member is always available to offer assistance when required.

Health Club for Teens

The Health Club is an exercise environment for teenagers aged 13-15 years too, with programs designed for the individual needs. 

Whether joining purely for fun or to assist with health and/or sports related goals, our highly qualified and experienced staff can assist in the development of programs that support the sports and health related needs of all teenagers. In addition to improved self confidence and self-esteem, teen based programs lead to improved performance in sport, and assistance with protection of muscles and joints from sports related injuries.

Teenagers aged between 13-15 years are required to attend a Health Assessment prior to using the Health Club, and a parent or guardian must be present during this session.

Personal Training

Personal training is the perfect tool for motivation and accountability to help you focus to reach your goals.

Suitable for anyone from beginner to athlete, sessions are perfect for those requiring:

  • Goal-setting assistance

  • Advice on weight loss and/or muscle gain
  • Nutritional advice and support

BALC Fitcamp

Meet new people. Build comradery. Reach your goals.

Three hours a week is all it takes to become fitter, stronger and leaner.

BALC Fitcamp is a fun yet challenging group training program for all ages and fitness abilities. Set in an encouraging and motivational environment, sessions vary to include cardio, boxing and functional fitness training methods using both body weight and a range of equipment.  Fitness testing is incorporated into each block to monitor progression in achieving individual goals.

Beginning at 6am, sessions run for one hour each Monday, Wednesday and Friday in a ten week block.  Sessions are predominately held outdoors and do not run on public holidays.

$90 BALC gold members / $380 non-members.

Payment is required before commencement of the program and can be made with our Customer Service team.  Proof of payment is to be presented when beginning the program.
