When streaming fitness sessions, we are unable to supervise your participation and activity, or assess the suitability of these fitness sessions for you. Please ensure you undertake any exercise at your own pace and within your personal limitations and if you have existing medical condition or injuries that you seek advice from a medical practitioner before undertaking the session, ensure that your exercise space and any equipment used is safe and it is imperative that you follow all safety and other instructions provided by City of Ballarat / Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre.

City of Ballarat / Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of our live streaming and pre-recorded fitness sessions, or information shared on our website, this includes emails, videos and text. We ask that you do not record or take screen shots and any offensive or disruptive behaviour will remove you from live streaming sessions.

Class descriptions

Gently Active: (Chair based) Gentle exercise for our ageing community. Focus on mobility, flexibility, balance and strength. Seated and standing options. Remain mobile for tasks of daily living. Strong focus on falls prevention. Duration: 45 mins. Coordination: Low.

Pilates: A class teaching a unique method of body control and conditioning, focusing on mind to muscle connection and activation. This class will stretch and strengthen the muscles, improve flexibility, core stability, balance and activate the pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles. Duration: 45 mins. Coordination: Low.

Low Impact Basics: A class that is easy for beginners. Low impact classes will boost your energy levels, burn calories, and reduce stress. Duration: 45 mins. Coordination: Low.
