Current vacancies

Gymnastics Coach

  • Casual Positions
  • Salary $37.18 per hour, includes casual loading

This position requires a positive, energetic, vibrant attitude and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.

You will have experience in coaching children’s gymnastics classes, either beginner or advanced levels. You will communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and management.

You will have exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work autonomously on the gym floor, as well as part of a team to ensure an efficient flow through the gymnastics hall each night. You will be required to take on shift hours which may include some or all of the following: mornings, afternoons, late evenings and/or weekends.

Gymnastics Assistant Coaches

  • Casual Positions

The Gymnastics Assistant Coach position is a training position to give you the skills and knowledge to transition into the position of Gymnastics Coach. You will have experience and/or a drive to grow your skills in coaching children’s gymnastics classes; across all levels from beginner to advanced and a variety of age groups. You will communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and management.

You will have strong customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work both alongside a mentor coach and autonomously on the gym floor, as well as part of a team to ensure an efficient flow through the gymnastics hall each night. You will be required to take on shift hours which may include some or all of the following; mornings, afternoons, late evenings and/or weekends.

Swim Teacher

  • Casual Positions
  • Hourly Rate $29.74 plus 25% casual loading and 11% super
  • Junior rates apply under the age of 21 years

Casual opportunities exist to join our Aquatics team as an AUSTSWIM qualified teacher of Swimming and Water Safety. Don’t have the qualification? That’s okay! We have the opportunity to provide access to get your qualification through State funding. 

We’re looking for positive, energetic and vibrant people with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.  In these roles you will be responsible for delivering classes in our Aquatic Education program which focuses on teaching children and adults to swim and be safer around aquatic environments. Our classes cater for students from nervous beginners through to more advanced swimmers. Our classes are school aged up to adults. You will only be assigned infant and preschool classes if you have the required qualification.

You will have exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work well as part of a team.

Flexible hours and days are required for this role over a 6-day roster which include some or all the following; mornings, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.
