Gold Membership

Including full use of all facilities, the Gold Membership is the ultimate package to support your health and wellbeing needs.

The possibilities are endless as a Gold Member, with full access to group fitness (including aqua fitness), Health Club, swim, Spa, Steam Room, and use of a locker. Gold Members also receive discounts on programs within the Centre.

Kickstart your journey with a pre-exercise health and wellness assessment in the Health Club. Set goals, learn correct technique and receive your individual program. It’s free for Gold Members! Members aged 13 to 17 must have a parent or guardian present during their health assessment. Members aged 13-15 must have an assessment before starting in the Health Club. To book your health assessment please contact the centre on 5334 2499.

Aquatic Membership

If you love to swim, this one is for you! A membership providing full access to our impressive aquatic facilities.

Includes access to our indoor pools, Spa*, Steam Room*, and use of a locker.

An affordable way to enjoy swimming all year round, our Aquatic Members have access to all of our indoor pools and spa plus an Outdoor Pools Membership for the Summer months providing access to Eureka, Buninyong and Black Hill Pools.

*Children under 16 cannot use the Spa or Steam Room.

Healthy Kids Membership

Active children are happier and healthier. Learn life skills, social development and have fun with our Healthy Kids Memberships.

A Healthy Kids Membership is available for children aged 6 months to 16 years in our swimming and gymnastics programs. All classes are led by our qualified staff. Speak to us in Centre about joining up on a Healthy Kids Membership!

Direct debit

Healthy Kids members have access to loads of inclusions such as:

  • free swim at any time
  • guaranteed place each term
  • automatic re-enrolment for the following term
  • school holiday programs included

Direct debit occurs fortnightly with price dependant on the class/program you are enrolled in.  Speak with our Customer Service team for more information.

Rehabilitative memberships

We understand how important it is and how hard it can be to return to an active lifestyle after an injury or physical concern.

Rehabilitation memberships are available to patrons with payment agreements in place with their insurance company.  The memberships are available on a 3 month term and are for use in our aquatic facilities or Health Club.

Our Health Club staff can consult with your medical practitioner to create a specialised program, or alternatively you can work through a program provided by your specialist.

If you are recovering from an accident or injury, speak with your medical practitioner for advice and seek information and a referral from your insurance company.

Membership FAQs

Questions before you commit?

If I choose the direct debit option am I locked into a minimum term?

No! There is no lock in period on direct debit memberships; we just need 14 days written notice for any cancellations or changes to your membership.

Do I need a medical certificate before I start?

Our Health Club Instructors may request a medical clearance from you if you tick YES on any of the items on our pre-exercise questionnaire, or if any significant conditions arise during your health assessment that may prevent you from safely beginning an exercise program.

I have a membership; do I pay extra for swimming lessons?

Yes, swimming lessons are not included unless you have chosen swimming as your Healthy Kids Membership option.

Can other family members use my membership?

No! Memberships are strictly for the person who completed the registration process.

Does my membership include my children? From what age do I pay for my child?

One child under the age of five years is welcome to accompany you free of charge, providing you are going swimming only.

Does my Aquatic Membership include aqua classes?

No, aqua classes are considered as group fitness classes, and therefore are only included in Gold Memberships.  If you wish to attend an aqua class (or any other group fitness class) you can purchase casual classes or visit passes to suit your needs.

Do you have childcare available and is it included in my membership?

Yes childcare is available, however attendance at the BALC Children’s Centre is an additional fee per visit and not included in your membership.

What happens if I lose my membership card?

Advise us so that Customer Service can check if your card has been handed in. If not we can issue you with a new membership card at a cost of $4.20.
