Lost something in Centre?
If you forget or lose something while visiting Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre (BALC), and it is handed in to staff, we will keep it onsite for five weeks.
After this time, reusable clothing and other suitable items are donated to charity. Valuable items, such as phones, wallets, watches and keys are stored onsite for two months before being provided to Victoria Police.
Items we cannot store:
– Sanitary products
– Food
– Hygiene products, including shampoo, conditioner, soap and deodorant
– Underwear
Pool deck lost property
Drink bottles and clothing items will be placed in the lost property area on pool deck. Please ask a member of our team where this is located. The lost property space is emptied every Friday, and items are kept for a further four weeks. Goggles will be kept for two weeks and disposed of after that period.

Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings, as outlined in the venue’s conditions of entry.
Report a lost item
If you have lost an item at the venue, please complete the form below. We recommend contacting the centre as soon as you notice the item is missing, as this gives you the best chance of having it returned. If your item is found, a member of our team will contact you within seven days.
Note: Due to the high number of lost property requests we receive, staff will only contact you if your item is located.
