Resurfacing Works
We are excited to announce resurfacing works will commence in the Learn to Swim (LTS) pool in July.
The Learn to Swim pool will be closed to the public from Wednesday 9 July 2025 until Sunday 3 August 2025 inclusive.

Foam-rubber aquatic tiles will replace the current painted surface of the LTS pool. These slip-resistant, cushioned tiles are currently used in the toddler pool at Eureka Aquatic Centre.
Scheduled LTS classes will be moved to the multipurpose pool. Some classes that are currently scheduled in the multipurpose pool may be moved to the 25m pool. Our Aquatic Program Officers will be on pool deck during lesson times to help you find your lesson space.
Private lessons currently scheduled in the LTS pool will move to the multipurpose pool. If you have any concerns, please speak to our Aquatic Education team.
The public will have full access to the multipurpose pool from Wednesday 9 July to Sunday 20 July inclusive (school holidays).
When Term 3 resumes on Monday 21 July, the NORTH side of the multipurpose pool will be closed to the public during lesson times (8am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 12:30pm Saturday). If space in the NORTH side becomes available during these times we will open additional lanes to the public, however this cannot be guaranteed. Please click here to view a diagram of closure times.
The SOUTH side will be open as normal for rehabilitation and gentle exercise.

The closure of the LTS pool means we have the capacity to temporarily increase the temperature of the 25m pool to 30-31 degrees. This change will be made to accommodate swimming lessons normally held in the multipurpose pool and warm water classes.
