Concession Memberships

Thank you for being a valued member of Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre.  

Our records indicate that you are receiving a concession discount on your membership fees.  Our records also indicate that you have either an expired concession card or no concession details in our system. 

If you have an updated concession card, please present it to our Customer Service team before Thursday 16th April 2026 to avoid your membership being automatically upgraded to full price.

There are two ways you can present your card: 

  1. Bring your card into the Centre and present it to the reception team. 
  1. Take a photo of your card and email it to balc@ballarat.vic.gov.au. Please ensure the photo includes your full name, card number and card expiry date.  


We would like to remind you that it is your responsibility to update your details whenever you receive a new concession card.

Eligible Concession Cards:

  • Australian Student Card (note: full time only) 
  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card 
  • Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Health Card 
  • Repatriation Health Card 
  • Centrelink Health Care Card 
  • Commonwealth Seniors Card. 
Your personal information is being collected by the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre, as part of Council for the purpose of the use of Centre facilities. Your information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for the delivery of services and information.
