January School Holiday Program
With the end of term just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to start planning your school holiday activities!
Our January School Holiday program will run from Tuesday 20 January – Friday 23 January 2026 and include our popular gymnastics and rock wall classes. We have made a slight tweak to the format, with each day encompassing a different area of our program to ensure structure, learning and fun are a focus. Students will need to be booked into classes based on their age, so ensure you select the correct class at the time of booking.
Bookings for members will open at 9am on Monday 15 December 2025.
Inland Water Safety Program
Following the successful launch of the program last summer, we are pleased to announce the return of the Inland Water Safety Program for 2026!
Designed to build essential lifesaving and water safety knowledge for children aged 6 – 14 years in open water environments, this 3-day program focuses on real-world safety skills rather than traditional swimming strokes.
Participants will learn how to make informed risk assessments in natural water settings, survival and rescue techniques, efficient movement through water using practical tools like boogie boards, and emergency response basics through interactive activities.

Christmas Suspensions
Swimming and gymnastics lesson members’ direct debits are automatically suspended for a 4-week period over the Christmas break.
The 2 direct debits that will be automatically suspended are 26 December 2025 and 9 January 2026.
Although payments will be suspended for this period, swimming and gymnastics lesson members will still have access to BALC, Outdoor Pools and the January School Holiday Program.
The first direct debit date for 2026 will be Friday 23 January 2026. Term 1 commences on Wednesday 28 January 2026.
Gymnastics Progress Reports
Gymnastics students will start bringing home their end of year progress reports from next week.
These reports are a celebration of the skills your gymnast has achieved this year and a chance for both child and parent to see their progress in their current level from 2025. We will continue to monitor progress for the final few weeks and make any level moves required to ensure your child is in the right class for Term 1 2026.
