BALC offers world-class facilities in the heart of regional Victoria and is the perfect venue for a variety of training sessions and events.

Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre

Our pools and fitness studios are available to hire for a range of events including swimming carnivals, competitions, school groups, community and sporting groups, and training programs.

Facilities available for hire include:

  • Indoor 50m pool with grandstand seating for 500 and adjustable boom
  • Indoor 25m pool
  • Lap lanes
  • Outdoor pools at Eureka, Buninyong and Black Hill
  • Multipurpose pool
  • Learn to Swim pool
  • Group Fitness studios

Doug Dean Stadium

Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre also manages Doug Dean Stadium, located in Delacombe. The stadium includes an indoor court with adjoining meeting room and kitchen, and is available for ongoing and one-off hire periods.
